  • Cell-Mediated Immunity (CMI): Antibody-Mediated Immunity (AMI):
      - Mostly targets cancerous & virally-infected cells     - Mostly targets bacteria
      - Uses T-lymphocytes primarily   - Uses B-lymphocytes primarily
      - Kills targeted cells by poking holes in them,
          by phagocytosis, or by opsonization
      - Uses antibodies to disarm bacteria and
          their toxins, often clumping them together
